Built by a booth owner who needed it himself.
PhotoBoothCRM started because running a booth business is mostly admin, and the founder was living it every weekend like everyone else.
Our story
PhotoBoothCRM was founded by Ismail Humet, a photo booth business owner who got tired of trying to run a real business out of spreadsheets and a full inbox. He kept hearing the same thing from other operators at shows like PBX and BoothCon: the events were the easy part, the admin was the part eating everyone alive.
So he built the tool he wished he had, with input from a load of working boothers along the way. The whole point was simple. Less stress, fewer late nights reconciling deposits, more bookings actually converted. The best messages he got were from operators saying they were finally taking a proper day off because their business ran itself in the background.
Ismail also co-hosts Super Boothers, the podcast a lot of operators in this industry grew up listening to. He's been in the trenches of this business for years, which is exactly why the software feels like it was built by someone who's actually done the job. Because it was.
Joining forces with BoothBook
After years of bumping into each other at the same shows, Ismail and the team at BoothBook realised they had far more in common than they had reasons to compete. Both built by operators, both obsessed with making booth businesses run smoother and more profitably.
So in a proper case of community over competition, they joined forces. PhotoBoothCRM and BoothBook came together to build the best booking tool in the industry, with the features operators had been asking for and the education to actually put them to use.
Today that platform powers booth businesses in over 30 countries and 14 languages. PhotoBoothCRM stays live as the place operators come to understand what a real CRM does for their business, backed by the team and the platform behind BoothBook.
What we believe
Software for a small event business should feel like a calm assistant, not another inbox to stay on top of.
Every feature has to earn its place by saving a working operator real time each week. If it doesn't, it doesn't ship. The goal has never changed since day one: make booth owners the most profitable, least stressed people in the industry.
The people behind it

PhotoBoothCRM is run by the BoothBook team, with Ismail still right in the middle of it. The crew spans the US, EU and Asia, covering every major timezone, made up of operators, support specialists and product people who spend their days making the back office of a booth business quieter.
